We’re looking for an Associate Director, Data Engineer to:
• Analyze design, code, test, documentation, and other data-engineering artifacts. Transform data into valuable insights that inform business decisions, making use of the internal data platforms and applying appropriate analytical techniques.
• Prepare data and models to represent business information cleanly and accurately, applying industry standards, open standards, and internal standards where appropriate.
• Use data platform infrastructure effectively to engineer reliable data pipelines for sourcing, processing, distributing, and storing data in different ways. Understand and apply a range of data engineering techniques including data sourcing and modelling to stream processing and ML ops.
• Develop, train, and apply machine-learning models to make better predictions, automate manual processes, and solve challenging business problems. Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues. Reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and others. Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs.
• Deliver frequent releases that improve data products, pipelines, models, and services. Provide meaningful and actionable insights derived by souring, transforming, and processing data.

Salary & Work Schedule: $155,000 to $186,000 Per Year, 40 hrs/wk. The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Management, Engineering (any), or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
Alternate Education & Experience Requirement
• The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Management, Engineering (any), or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
Position requires experience with the following:
• Databricks; pySpark; DevOps; Kubernetes; Docker
• GitLab; Machine Learning; Airflow; Probability Theory
• Regression methods including Linear Regression and Logistics Regression
• Statistical significant tests including R Square, T Test, and P Value
• Statistical time series analysis including NOVA, Moving Averages, Vector regression analysis, and ARIMA

Salary information
US Only: The expected salary range for this role is $155,000 to $186,000 based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Please see «Your role» section for detailed salary information.
