Your role

We’re looking for a Director, Investment Officer to:

• Oversee the reporting and monitoring process of significant firm managed venture capital and private equity portfolios. Analyze and monitor the performance of the firm's existing fund managers and underlying portfolio companies.
• Develop and manage existing relationships with venture fund managers, advisors and limited partners to source and diligence investment opportunities.
• Source and spearhead potential venture and private equity fund primary investments, growth stage co-investment and secondary investments. Analyze new investment opportunities based on top down-market analysis as well as proprietary sourcing.
• Interpret financial analyses prepared by target fund managers, including investment track records Perform broad scale industry research and analysis to learn about and understand venture and growth capital industry landscapes within the UBS UGA focus areas, and advise the broader investment team accordingly.
• Perform Cash Flow (CF) modeling, Net Asset Value (NAV) reporting, quarterly reporting overall, and quarterly monitoring.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Salary & Work Schedule: $182,978 to $195,000 Per Year, 40 hrs/wk. The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Multi-Manager Private Equity Analyst, Doctoral Researcher, Lawyer, or related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:
• covering private equity primaries, secondaries, and co-investments across all segments including venture, growth, and buyout; commercial due diligence; legal analysis and negotiations
• monitoring dedicated private equity fund investments; leading or advising on venture capital investments.Leading or advising on growth capital investments; leading or advising on buyout investments; preparing investment memoranda for investment committee; writing and preparing client quarterly reports
• portfolio investment guideline checks; legal and tax due diligence; Operational and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) due diligence. Conducting research on venture capital and private equity industry; financial modeling and coding
• synthesizing complex financial and legal information and presenting effectively to internal committees, clients and other stakeholders; project management.

Salary information

US Only: The expected salary range for this role is $182,978 to $195,000 based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Please see «Your role» section for detailed salary information.
