We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team and help us to:

•technically analyze requirements to help define technical specifications and solutions
•configure, develop, maintain, and support the ServiceNow platform
•work effectively within a Scrum team and focus on sprint goal delivery
•identify solutions for identified issues during development via open-source community, liaising with vendor, and collaborating with engineers
•develop using best practices and standards; write code with performance in mind and drive automation wherever possible
•propose alternative solutions to a problem whilst and design and develop solutions with self-service in mind

Your team

You will join the Newton CMDB Pod, a part of the Technology Inventories crew within Technology Inventories Data & Reporting Services alongside 400 colleagues globally. TIDRS offers a best-in-class and cost-effective Service Management Technology, IT Asset Management, and Data Platform Ser-vices for our global bank. Technology Inventories provides the required tooling, data, and processes supporting IT asset management and operations for running UBS’s IT. The crew’s role is to align, streamline, and standardize the current inventory tooling, whilst also the simplifying and standardizing today’s data model.

The Newton pod is made up of 20 individuals that is responsible for the ongoing support and roadmap delivery for the strategic CMDB and is a significant component in our Bank’s ServiceNow journey.

Your expertise

•ideally, 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow configuration and development experience with a proven track record of implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform
•experience in one or more scripting languages
•experience in ServiceNow systems integration
•optional experience on ServiceNow CMDB and HAM modules
•ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification or additional ServiceNow certifications
•working knowledge of GitHub, Flow-JIRA, GitLab
•good technical writing and documentation skills
