Your role
Do you have a track record in ABS sales? Are you a target driven individual? Do you know how to come up with innovative ABS structures for clients?
We're looking for an ABS Salesperson to:
· to sit within Global Markets to coordinate bookbuilding and syndicate process for primary ABS deals.
· provide sales coverage for Institutional Clients on the whole spectrum of ABS.
· price and pitch bespoke and innovative solutions to clients
· introduce, develop and maintain relationships with clients by understanding their objectives, risk tolerance and expectations
· manage the end-to-end client management process
· support internal projects or automation initiatives specific to ABS distribution
• New York: the salary range for this role is $400000 to $500000

UBS is entering into the ABS space as part of a new initiative in Global Banking. The Salesperson should hold senior level PM relationships with institutional clients. Potential to grow the sales team into secondary market making over time. You’ll be joining a strong franchise working in the Global Markets team in New York. We provide a range of ABS with global access to primary markets. As an ABS salesperson you’ll play a vital role in making sure we help clients manage risk and meet their funding requirements. We are looking for someone to lead our newly formed initiative in UBS to lead our new issue distribution in ABS.
Your expertise
· ideally 15+ years of sales experience with ABS.
· excellent knowledge of financial markets, instruments and strategies
· proven understanding of the regulatory environment and its effect on clients
· adept communicator and collaborator, able to adapt style to audience
· a passion for following market developments and understanding both current and anticipated trends
· driven, with ability to thrive in a high-paced environment with a consistently professional manner
· fluent in English to support local client base
