Your role
Do you have an understanding of supervisory or operational risk and control? Do you have an analytical mind and strong attention to detail? We are looking for someone who meets this description who can support the IB Americas region in its supervisory activities, specifically to:
•run daily controls to identify ageing Supervision exceptions, and proactively address and manage to keep the volume of exceptions below threshold
•manage the Supervisory Control Portal (SCP) tool and contribute to the development of the tool and supervision processes
•provide daily support for SCP processes including queries from and interaction with supervisors, business management, control functions and audit/regulators
•act as a local point of contact within IB BRM Americas, working closely with the business, our logistics and control partners across a broad spectrum of supervisory objectives
•perform Key Procedural Controls, test and monitor the delivery of the front to back control environment by driving best practice for controls design and operating effectiveness
•deliver Front Office SCP training to Supervisors: setting up and training new Supervisors
•work collaboratively with Investment Bank COO team to ensure the effective execution of supervision responsibilities, participating in the relevant COO forums where appropriate
•take an active role in change initiatives working closely with stakeholders across the Investment Bank COO and other functions globally

Your team
You will be working in the Business Risk Management team, based in Nashville. We are part of the IB's first line of defense primarily supporting the Investment Bank in managing its Supervisory & Operational Risk frameworks. The team is responsible for embedding and maintaining these frameworks to manage the IB Front Office risk environment and deliver related change projects.
Your expertise
•a degree or professional education equivalent, with prior experience in a control, logistics function or a business management support role.
•strong presentation and organizational skills with an ability to effectively interact with global colleagues at all levels
•a strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver to deadline
•proven analytical and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail.
•proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point. Knowledge of Alteryx is an advantage
•able to work under pressure and prepared to take ownership of tasks assigned
•comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues
