UBS SECURITIES LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Global Markets - Electronic Agency - Sales Trader in New York, NY.

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Global Markets - Electronic Agency - Sales Trader to:

• Advise clients on trading strategies, Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA), market structure and Index Analysis.
• Cover institutional clients across global equity markets, handling and executing client orders, from vanilla to bespoke execution strategies. Solve institutional clients' challenges in equities trading.
• Interpret institutional clients' trading needs, behaviors, and activities and advise further improvement on equity trading. Develop client relationships, providing market information, commentary and execution ideas.
• Make strategic plans to improve workflow and expand the existing client base.
• Develop analytics and optimization tools leveraging the capabilities of equities electronic algorithm for institutional investors.

Salary & Work Schedule: $150,000 to $170,000 Per Year, 40 hrs/wk. The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computational Finance, or related field of study.

Alternate Education & Experience Requirement
• The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computational Finance, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst, or related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree.

• Position requires knowledge of the following:
• conducting in-depth analysis of market conditions, liquidity trends, and risk factors to inform trading decisions
• monitoring and managing risk exposure; ensuring compliance with internal risk limits and regulatory requirements
• analyzing intraday stock and market patterns; global macro markets and trends; algorithm functions and markets dynamics
• financial regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, limits and guidelines; Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA)
• Index Analysis; equity sales trading
• Requires FINRA Series SIE, Series 7TO, Series 57TO, and Series 63 Licenses (must be obtained within 45 days after hiring); Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or teaching experience.
