Your role

Are you an excellent communicator? Are you detail oriented, analytical, organized and passionate about the financial markets? Are you a performance driven individual? We’re looking for someone who can:

• support the cross asset structured products sales team that services, private banks, broker dealers, RIAs and middle market clientele in the Americas.
• assist the business as needed in all life-cycle projects and be the go to person to resolve any pending issues during the sales process.
• stay current with product knowledge and understand the nuances of the process from front to back.
• work closely with Control functions (Legal and Compliance) and Operations (MO, BO and Settlements) to assist with updating processes, improving controls and ensuring regulatory adherence. Escalate promptly and bring any expected issues to the forefront
• assist in new client prospecting and onboarding to UBS platform working with KYC, COO, Sales, Legal
• work alongside Sales, Quants and Tech to enhance platforms for pricing, lifecycle and regulatory requirements

In addition, you will serve as a subject matter expert, for internal operational functions, be responsible for updates to the internal documents working closely with the sales team and main control functions as needed. This includes legal doc checks, TRACE of secondary trades, platform uploads and deliverables as needed on a trade-by-trade basis. vendors, perform due diligence and have oversight of business partners and the products the firm distributes, identify business opportunities, adhere to budgets and drive sales.

Your team

You will be working as part of a dynamic and fast growing Structured Investment & Distribution business at UBS Investment Bank in close collaboration with UBS Wealth Management, based out of New York. You will work within a team that is responsible for product development marketing, sales and origination support of cross asset structured products to the firm's financial intermediary clients. To accomplish this you will be involved in assisting salespeople with client coverage, collaborating with the firm's cross asset derivatives traders, middle office, back office, settlements, legal, and compliance groups, participating in new platform projects as needed.

Your expertise

• A degree from an accredited university with a degree in business administration, engineering, management, legal, finance or economics
• 3 to 5 years' related experience in high intensity environment interacting with multiple stakeholders as part of a productive team
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail.
• Series 7, 63 and 57 (within 90 days of hire).
